My mission is to act as an instrument of positive change in my family, my work and my community. I will utilize all of the talents that God has given me and will participate in all aspects of my life with love, purpose and gratitude. I will utilize my talents in strategy and administration to help people of faith, or people of lost faith, to grow stronger and closer with God. I will use my talents and rights as a member of the Clergy, to counsel any individual or group of individuals whom seek spiritual counseling.
I will not compromise my principles, faith and/or decisions based upon the opinion or disapproval of others. I will be true to myself and my purpose. I am guided by a spiritual belief that everyone has a purpose on this earth and that we are all called to serve in some capacity. I also believe in the power of God, both in prayer and as a motivation to serve. I will not be guided by the promise of money or fame in making my life choices.
I draw my strength from God, my burdens and afflictions become his burdens and afflictions, and are lifted from me; my sins are forgiven. The entire world's burdens and sins are but a speck of dust upon one's finger, because God's power has no limits. Do not be afraid to ask for forgiveness and help. I also draw my strength from people and places where I see or feel a divine presence- the road I drive on, my children's faces, the church I am in, music and art, etc.
Lastly, I will gain academic and divine knowledge through continuation of my of studies of culture and faith. I will gain spiritual knowledge through the study of The Holy Bible, and the study of other religions. I will gain physical strength through the continuation of taking care of my physical being. I will gain wisdom by living my life in congruence with my life's purpose. I will gain personnel strength through my faith. In all of this, I thank God.
